E-mail can be used as evidence. The idea that E-mail cannot be used as evidence is wrong. 

According to the Chinese law, a certain E-mail can be used as evidence as long as it is true, legal and relevant to the case.

However, E-mail can be deleted and tampered with. When the opposing party challenges the authenticity of E-mail evidence, how to prove the authenticity of E-mail to the court and the opposing party is a very important issue.

In practice, if you use E-mail as evidence, be sure to keep it well. If the mail is lost and only the printed version is taken out, the court will have a hard time determining its authenticity.
